Oven Troubleshooting
Oven troubleshooting guides, currently covering Samsung ovens that won't heat — including Demo Mode, a common false alarm on new installs, and how to isolate a gas igniter fault from a bad safety valve before replacing either.
Common Oven Problems
The oven hub starts with Samsung ranges that won't heat. Before you take anything apart, make sure Demo Mode is off. It leaves the display and buttons working but never turns on the heat, and it catches a lot of new installs. After that, two quick tests narrow things down. If a stovetop burner lights, power or gas is reaching the range. If Broil heats but Bake doesn't, the problem is on the bake circuit.
Choose by Symptom
Is tESt showing on the display? That's Demo Mode, so turn it off first. Next, look for bAd LinE, which means the power connection isn't seated. Then cancel any delay start and reset a flashing clock. Only after that, check whether the cooktop works: if it does, supply to the range is fine and the fault is inside the oven cavity.
Start troubleshootingSafety First
Unplug the oven before inspecting elements or wiring. On gas ranges, close the supply valve before going near the igniter. Work on the igniter or gas valve is a job for a technician.
